Finite element Modeling and Basic Finite Element Analysis
Brief outline : Finite element Analysis is an essential tool of CAE in almost every industry today. FEA reduces the costs associated with experimental tests and also the time from conceptual stage to the final product ( From table to the market ) . This course is a basic course for engg. Students and discusses thoroughly the FE Concept and types of engineering analysis . Theoretical foundations of Structural Mechanics are covered and the students are exposed to practical FE Modeling using HYPERMESH and FEA with MSC NASTRAN.
Eligibility : Enginnering /Diploma in Mechanical , Automobile , Production ,Civil ,Chemical and other branches or experienced candidates.
Contents Numerical Methods , Theory of Elasticity , Mechanical Component Design , Finite Element Method , FE Modeling with HYPERMESH , 1-D to 3-D meshing algorithms , mesh quality parameters and checklist for finite element modeling .
