Design Sensitivity and Optimization

Brief Outline :  How a design parameter affects the overall  design of  components . What should be the optimal  value of that parameter.  How sensitive it is  as compared to other parameters  and  How do we  arrive  at the  optimal  material are some of the questions that  today’s engineers exposed to .  The aim of this course is precisely  to make aware the  advanced  CAE aspects  of  optimization  using HYPERMESH and OPTISTRUCT  .
Eligibility :  Enginnering degree  in Mechanical , Automobile engineering   ,or  experienced candidates.
Pre-requisite :   Finite Element Modeling and Basic FEA Course .
Contents :  Objective function , design variables and constraints , design sensitivity analysis  in static and natural frequencies . Topology optimization  . Algorithms  for  optimization  .  Tutorials and practical  projects .

Duration :  Regular batch  3 months . Weekend batch : 3 months
